Postponement Announcement For 2nd AsiaEvo Conference In Tokyo, Japan

We are delighted to announce that Tokyo, Japan will be the place to host the 2nd AsiaEvo conference.

As we declared in the 1st AsiaEvo, the conference aims to provide a platform that brings together scientists from all fields concerned with evolution, including genomics, developmental biology, paleontology, phylogenetics, ecology, biogeography, evo-devo, and others from Asia and the rest of the world.

Originally, we have announced that the 2nd AsiaEvo Conference will be held on March 2020, however, we regret to inform you that we had to postpone the conference date to 2021 summer. This is mainly because 2020 is an Olympic year in Tokyo, and many unexpected barriers arose to hold the AsiaEvo conference with the original plan. To fully conduct our mission, and to provide exciting conference to all attendees, we have decided to postpone the schedule to 2021.

Detailed information will be provided on the 2nd AsiaEvo website when it's announced, so please take your time to find places and people you would like to see and meet in Japan.

If you have any question, please contact Prof. Koichiro Tamura  (ktamura@tmu.ac.jp).

See you in Tokyo.
